Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has acclaimed success not only through critic and audience review but also marked it’s entry into the 100cr club 10 days after release.
As praises continue to flow in for the director, cast and crew of the film, actors Singh, Bhatt and Siddhant Chaturvedi have already received their first award from the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
After struggling fro 6 years in the industry, newcomer Chaturvedi was discovered by director Zoya Akhtar and donned the role of MC Sher with utmost confidence and calibre, making one and all drool over him!
You’ve definitely been living under a rock if you didn’t know that senior Bachchan’s special handwritten note to an actor after watching their work is as precious as any other mainstream award.
Chaturvedi and Bhatt took to Instagram to share their excitement, thrill and happiness after receiving Mr. Bachchan’s note and a bouquet of flowers.
While debutante Chaturvedi posted a picture of the letter and said “Mr. Amitabh Bachcha, greetings. Receiving your gift and blessings are unbelievable. I cannot express my happiness in words. This is a moment of pride for me and now I wish to only touch your feet.”
Bhatt posted, ‘Its not everyday you receive a letter from the legend. Grateful.’
